Ricky Lawrence Lewis was born in Pensacola, Florida. Moved to Los Angeles at 13 years old, 

where he was taught in the Los Angeles 

Unified School District (LAUSD). A graduate of John Muir Jr. High School, 

Fremont High School and the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, 

where he was initiated into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. by way of Nu Mu Chapter in 1981.

Ricky Lewis accomplishments include:

• Served on the Board of Directors at the Weingart Aquatic Center YMCA in South Los Angeles, where he also served 4 consecutive years as Chairman of the Board.

• Currently the Executive Director of the Omega Youth Leadership Conference and Mentorship Program in Los Angeles, an organization that has impacted the lives of over 8,800 young men over the last 28 years.

• The 24th, 12th District Representative of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. from 1995-1998.

• The 11th Chairman of the Board of the Omega Life Membership Foundation 2012-2013.

• The 35th First Vice Grand Basileus Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. from 2018- Present.

• Currently employed in the Aerospace industry for the past 38 years.

Ricky Lewis currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Vicky Lewis and two sons. His oldest son, Adisa Omari Lewis is a Captain in the US Army, and earned a Masters Degree from Fresno State University. His youngest son, Wyatt Lawrence Lewis is a high school student currently in the 11th Grade.
